In 2024, the Russian Academy of Sciences celebrates its 300th anniversary since its founding.
Victor Balykin, head of the spectroscopy laboratory at the Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, were honored with this special award in conjunction with the 300-year anniversary celebrations.
This medal was awarded to the outstanding scientists who have made significant contributions to the formation and development of national science, education, and long-term productive scientific-research and organizational work.
